Wake up challenge incoming…

How It Works

Simple. Brutal. Effective.

Three steps stand between you and your alarm being silenced.

01

Set your alarm

Choose time, repeat days, and difficulty level. Easy, Medium, or Hard — each changes how strict the AI is when judging your drawing.

02

Wake up to a challenge

The alarm fires full-screen. A random prompt appears: "Draw a bicycle." You cannot dismiss or snooze it. You must engage your brain.

03

Draw correctly → dismissed

The on-device AI verifies your drawing in real time. Match the prompt above the confidence threshold and the alarm stops. Wrong drawing → alarm continues.

Comparison

Why DrawBell is different.

Other challenge alarm apps are either too easy or rely on external objects. DrawBell uses actual AI verification.

Difficulty

Choose your challenge.

The difficulty level controls how confident the AI must be in your drawing before it lets you go back to sleep.

Easy
Light sleepers, beginners
Confidence 40%
Match rule Top-3 match
Mercy rule After 5 attempts

Good for beginners. Any of the AI's top-3 predictions needs to match the prompt at just 40% confidence. Even rough sketches usually qualify.

Medium
Most users
Confidence 60%
Match rule Top-1 exact match
Mercy rule After 10 attempts

The recommended setting for most people. Only the top-1 prediction counts and it needs 60% confidence — enough to force real engagement.

Hard
Heavy sleepers, challenge seekers
Confidence 75%
Match rule Top-1 exact match
Mercy rule Never

No mercy. Top-1 prediction must match at 75%+ confidence. You need to draw a clear, recognizable version of the prompt. No shortcuts.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

What if I cannot draw well?
DrawBell's Easy mode accepts any of the top-3 AI predictions and only requires 40% confidence. The model was trained on 50 million quick sketches from Google Quick Draw, not fine art. Anyone can pass on Easy mode.
What happens if I fail many times?
On Easy mode, after 5 failed attempts the confidence threshold drops by 10% (mercy rule). On Medium mode, the mercy rule activates after 10 attempts. Hard mode has no mercy rule.
Does DrawBell require internet to dismiss the alarm?
No. The entire AI model (8.44 MB) is bundled inside the app and runs fully on your device using TFLite. Alarm dismissal works with no internet connection.
How many drawing prompts does DrawBell have?
345 categories sourced from the Google Quick Draw dataset. Prompts range from everyday objects (cat, bicycle, house) to landmarks (Eiffel Tower) and abstract concepts.
Is DrawBell available on iOS?
Not yet. DrawBell is currently Android-only. iOS support is planned for a future release.
Does DrawBell collect my drawing data?
No. DrawBell does not collect, transmit, or store your drawings anywhere outside your device. The AI inference runs entirely on-device. No account is required.
Is DrawBell free?
Yes. DrawBell is completely free to download and use. There are no in-app purchases or subscriptions.
